Find a programmer
Here at PHPWomen we often get requests from companies, organisations, recruiters, not for profits etc to be put in contact with PHP programmers.
PHPWomen is home to over 200 female and male PHP programmers (we are non-exclusive) with varying levels of ability. Some of our members are industry-recognised experts in their field, and others are just entering the industry.
We will do what we can to put you in contact with a programmer who meets your needs - however we are primarily a community building site, so please do not be disappointed if we cannot find someone for you.
If you are looking for a PHP programmer, we ask that you do the following;
Please register on the forum and post a note in our Jobs thread. A suggested template is below to help you provide the sort of information that PHP programmers who are looking for work need to know. We’d also love to hear from you on our other threads - PHP is a tool used to solve real world problems and programmers are all about problem solving.

This will help to reach the skill level and geographical area you are targeting.
Example: Junior PHP/XHTML/MySQL/CSS role in Melbourne, Australia
Role: In the body of the post, be sure to describe what the role entails. Is it just PHP, or is Perl, Apache and some Linux knowledge required? Is the role going to be working on Windows or Linux? How flexible is the role in terms of working from home or alternative working hours (keep in mind we have many PHPMums!) Is the role permanent or contract? What opportunities or benefits does the role offer? Now is your chance to market your company
If you are a recruiter, please specify.
Location: Be sure to specify the location and any Visa requirements. We are an international group, and some of our members are willing to travel or telecommute for work. Be sure to specify whether the role can be done from home or requires on site commitment.
Salary: Specify what the salary / hourly rate is. If you cannot be exact, or are willing to negotiate, please provide a range. Be sure to specify what currency (not everyone on PHPWomen works in $USD!). If you are looking for pro bono work or assistance with a not-for-profit, please let us know (we’re a fairly friendly bunch and will do what we can, we just like to know beforehand).
