Looks great! But please make the logo at the top a link to the home page (or place a link in the sidebar). In order to get to the home page, I have to manually type it in the browsers address bar.

I quite like the new layout, good job! I am however disappointed that “pink for girl” was selected for the color scheme. I would have preferred something less predictable.

Thanks Sam…. I actually designed it as purple – are you able to private message me with a screenshot?

It’s purple for me…actually I think I’d prefer it pink – after all, what’s wrong with pink? Why should females have to do away with all things considered feminine… because they’re in a male dominated field?

It shows as a nice lavendar or lilac to me. Subtle and relaxing on the eyes. Quite nice =)

I notice that in IE7 the items in the right sidebar jump around a tad and don’t make a continuous lighter shade background, but in Firefox it’s perfect. I think it’s a very nicely laid out design. I particularly like the very subtle texture of the background.

I noticed in someone’s comment there was a forum for this site. The only link that I can find to the forum is by clicking “delegations” under “areas” in the right hand menu. Perhaps you could add a link to the forum directly under “areas”?

I didn’t see the site before the upgraded look, but this is nice and clean and light lilac for me!

OK, I’m blind, sorry! It’s there on the home page, but the link to the forum disappears if you’re on the “about phpw” page, or viewing a posting…

not XHMTML valid. Nearly, but not quite. I know it’s frustrating, but you shouldn’t put the button unless your prepared to iron out every little thing…

Ahem, not only is it not ‘XHMTML’ valid, it’s also not ‘XHTML’ valid…

I’m gonna just get my coat now… byeee!

Thanks dandan. It’s the onClick element on the header div that’s causing the page not to validate as XHTML. We’ll look at another way to provide a link back to the home page (Ben Ramsey’s comment). Cheers, Kathy
